Aquakids
Parents and children 3 & under enjoying the water together.
Exception: If your child has special needs or just needs another moment with you in the water please join this class.
Water Wiggles I & II
Calling all 3 year olds. Parents be brave and let your child swim in a group setting.
“WW” I: register 4 students for this class for safety. “WW” II: join Pre 1 classes.
This is a fun class specializing in water readiness through playing in the water.
Preschool Classes
These classes are for swimmers 6 & under.
Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Youth Classes
These classes are for swimmers 7 & over.
Levels 1, 2, 3, & 4 & Youth Endurance Swimmer
Youth Endurance Swimmer
Must complete Level 4 swimming skills.
Swim mini-workouts, work on all swimming strokes, flip turns & more!
Working towards endurance or graduate to team.
Adult Endurance Swimmer
This group swims mini-workouts, works on strokes & skills, flip turns, and just enjoys
swimming together once a month. Must be able to swim 100 yards freestyle . Drop-in!
Thunderbird Aquatic Masters Swim Club
All swimmers 18 & over may join. This group works out together 3 times per week .
Pool & Fitness Center available when you purchase your monthly pass.
Thunderbird Aquatic Club “TAC”
A competitive swim team ages 5 & up. Must be a level 4 to join.
Great environment for young athletes! Swim meets, friends & fun!
Private Swim Lessons
Call your favorite swim instructor and set up a lesson!
Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross)
15 years old. Adults welcome. Must be a strong swimmer.
40 hour full certification course. Call and get on our class list.
Water Safety Instructor (American Red Cross)
16 years old. Adults welcome. A full 40 hour certification course.

SWIM LESSON PROGRAM
2012 has a new swim lesson curriculum! The teachers are ready and now parents and swimmers get ready! The new curriculum has been developed by Judy Jensen and Erika Miller. Together we have 70 years of teaching experience! Join in and register you child for successful swimming.
What is New?
New expectations & skills for all levels as well as returning skills.
Water Wiggles now has 2 levels: I (basic beginner) & II. (ready to go!)
Water Wiggles I will register 4 students.
Water Wiggles II will be combined with Pre I and have 6 to 8 students.
(Your instructor will graduate all new WW swimmers to WW II when ready.)
New Levels:
Levels will not normally be combined as in the past.
(However, combined classes may happen due to enrollment.)
Level I= Beginner
Level II = Advance Beginner
Level III=Intermediate
Level IV = Advanced
Graduate from Level IV and join Youth Endurance Swimmer.

Join “TAC” our competitive swim team.
Swimming Skills
The cashier has a lesson book with all levels. Questions? Ask to see book.
Please look at what skills are taught in each level.
Each swimmer must complete each skill with good performance before moving up.
For success, register your child in their correct skill level.
(Friends/siblings may be in other classes.)
Parents
WW and Pre I classes: parents sit on designated seating areas on deck.
Pre 2 and higher: all parents required to sit in the balcony.
(First class day may be an exception if your child needs assistance getting to class.)
Report Cards
Our report cards have a new look.
The report card will tell you your child’s level for correct class placement.
Please bring your report card for registration for correct class placement.
ALL CLASSES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 TO GO!
